It will take another week or so before Macon City Council looks at a resolution that seeks to take away hotel/motel tax funding from the Cherry Blossom Festival and redirect it toward the Georgia Children's Museum and the Tubman African American Museum.
Crawford County voters are being asked to approve a five-year extension of the education sales tax to raise up to $4.5 million for various school projects.
