It is the hit that keeps on giving.

For the world champion 2007 Warner Robins American Little Leaguers, Dalton Carriker's walk-off home run to beat Japan in last August's title game has again extended the team's victory parade.

The feat, which landed Carriker on "The Late Show with David Letterman," will be lauded on ESPN later this month at the ESPY Awards in Los Angeles.

The game-winning, extra-innings jolt earned honors from one of the award-show's title sponsors as the Under Armour Undeniable Moment.

"That's the biggest sports-awards banquet. That we're gonna be honored at it, that's pretty cool," Carriker, 13, said Thursday. "We worked so hard. I mean, we've gotten a lot of stuff already, but this is one of the things that really stands out."

In a news release, ESPN notes that Under Armour, a sportswear manufacturer, is recognizing Carriker's dramatics that gave "Warner Robins, Ga., a 3-2 win over Tokyo."

The ESPYs show airs July 20 at 9 p.m.

"For our league, for Little League for that matter, it's a great honor," Warner Robins American president Roman Jones said. "It was a great moment for sports in general when it happened. It's good to see that almost a year later people are still remembering it."

Jones said he doesn't know yet if the team will attend the ceremony, a who's who of sports heroes and celebs hosted by Justin Timberlake at Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre.

Told of his team's latest honor, Warner Robins player Kendall Scott said, "That's just awesome, I can't think of words for that. Just being mentioned in the awards with all the great athletes and baseball players. If we went, to me, that would probably be the best thing that we've done."
