Bibb tag office reopens at Farmers Market
The Bibb County Tax and Tag Office at the State Farmers Market is open for business today for the first time since a tornado ripped through the area May 11.
Although the office wasn't physically damaged, the phone and data lines had remained down, depriving the office of access to the county property tax and state Department of Revenue networks, said Chief Deputy Commissioner Wade McCord.
The office is located at 2055 Eisenhower Parkway, Building C and the tax commissioner's office is at 621-6500.
